天畫廊于2007年9月1日在北京開幕。座落在北京大山子798藝術區(qū)黃金地段，天畫廊新館建筑面積900平方米，由韓國著名設計師設計，按當代多功能展示廳規(guī)劃建設，具備小型美術館規(guī)模，極具觀賞性和實用性。

館內有三層展廳，一二層展廳之間為活動墻，可以配合不同展覽需求變化展廳空間大小。并且可以同時展示多樣化形式題材的藝術。首層層高4.5米，二層為主展廳，30％層高7米，70％層高4.5米，三層30％為戶內展廳，層高3米，30％為戶外展廳，可以展示雕塑、行為等戶外藝術，40％設為VIP學術交流室，用于國際間學術交流研究。

北京天畫廊自開幕以來，邀請多個著名策展人策劃了多場有學術水平的展覽，獲得了強烈的反響。開幕展是由藝術批評家高嶺博士歷時兩年策劃，全面總結和反映中國當代藝術界近二十年來以動物為主要表現(xiàn)題材的展覽、文獻及研討會系列學術活動。學術收獲獲得業(yè)界專家一致好評。

天畫廊將通過與國際上多家美術館、藝術機構、收藏機構的合作，聘請多位資深策展人、美術館館長……精心舉辦每一場有學術影響力的展覽，全力推動中國當代藝術的發(fā)展。

GalleryTN.Allthewallscanberebuiltaccordingtheneedofexhibitions.Theheightofthefirstflooris4.5meters,30%ofthesecondfloor’sheightis7metersandtherestis4.5meters.Themainexhibithallisthesecondfloor,partofthethirdfloorisexhibithallandtheotherpartisourofficeroomwhichcanbeusedtoseminarofacademicexchange.
